  Blog It, Submit It, Or Email It?
  Combining social network sites with article distribution is a great way to drive web traffic to your website.

All over the news these days are Web 2.0 blog and social sites - like MySpace, Digg, Blogger and del.icio.us.  These are sites that have developed full-blown communities on-line.  We have seen the Internet lean this way and it’s not going to change.  It is only going to grow. It’s about time you got involved.

This next bit will show how the traits of web marketing get involved with natural benefits. Some marketers would name this marketing technique as viral marketing, some would name it PR, or even call it link building. For some it all falls under the general banner of search engine marketing;

Down to the nitty gritty...

Now, When I post to a blog; i add it to the social sites too. When I write an article; I add that to the social sites too. When I write a newsletter for email out; I even add that to the social sites too. I have accounts at the social sites where I add articles. I also submit all the automatically created RSS feeds from each social site to as many other social sites and RSS directories as possible. It all goes round and round, with all of them linking to each other.

These social sites are good places to place your articles or blog entries. They are very highly ranked at the search engines and links get indexed in a day or two. This can drive enormous amounts of traffic to your destination websites.

Sites like Squidoo, Bebo, Digg, MySpace, HubPages, etc can be easily set up and text and links can be simply added. The more people that visit your pages at these social sites, will then visit your other websites - the ones where you actually make money!

So, create accounts at Digg, Technorati, Squidoo and the others, add some content regularly and watch the visitors magically appear.

Now, if you really want to get the traffic rolling - go to Pligg.com and create your own Content Management Site (CMS) that looks similar to Digg and have people add articles to your site. This CMS is very simple to upload and install - and with the templates - easy to configure to make your very own. Visitors will come to read, add, vote, recommend - Just like Digg.

Interlink these sites with links back and forth to each other. Sprinkle their URL’s into the usual stream of internet directories like Club3E’s Free Business Directory or the Google Directory.  Promote your sites with at least 30 or more different social book marking sites as a group and the traffic will be continuous. The more articles you add the more visitors you gain.

For those that want a simple life; get a good CMS website development team to design a website with a Content Management System incorporating automated article distribution capabilities for an easier ride. There are lots of ready-to-go online business software packages available too.
